For Narcotics, Vice, & Gangs

The “basic tactics school” for all personnel who participate in those high risk operations that do not meet the SWAT threat matrix. This course is for detectives/investigators in narcotics, vice, and gang units, task force members, crime suppression units, and any uniformed patrol officers that called upon to regularly assist.

Due to low personnel and large caseloads these special investigation units rarely train together, if at all. This leads to groups of officers, all with different tactics, attempting to improvise in the field and hoping for success. This can lead to unpredictable operation results, and increased liability.

This course is designed to provide baseline training to these units, allowing officers to be in sync. We will teach you how to achieve operational success utilizing the lowest number of available resources and simplified tactics for immediate implementation.
